Ugolino Golf Course is one of the most impressive and beautiful natural golf courses in the world in Italy and offers different levels of difficulty.
In 1889 the English colony of Florence founded the Florence Golf Club and the first Italian Golf Association. Originally founded in the Cascine area, the golf course was transferred to the Osmannoro area after the first world war.
Between the 20’s and 30’s the idea of creating a new golf course took shape and in 1933 the Ugolino Golf Course was built on the Chiantigiana street by the English architects Blandford and Gannon.
The American author Chris Santella names the Ugolino Golf Course in his well known book ‘50 Places to Play Golf Before You Die‘.
Tee times at the Ugolino Golf Club should be booked in advance to ensure the special conditions available to guests.
